• Villa Mango is a beautiful property in a fabulous location. The house was perfect for our family and a fantastic place for us to relax. The location is unbelievable, and the house is stunning. It is extremely comfortable in every room; the materials you chose are warm and inviting; the kitchen is well supplied; the furniture is perfect; and the bathrooms are luxurious. Thank you for allowing us to share your beautiful home. It was very difficult for us to leave. We hope to be back soon!

• It's hard to describe the feeling of walking into the Villa for the first time.... "Wow!" was about all I could manage. The beauty of the architecture, the style and flair of the decor, the fabulous landscaping and pool, the amazing jungle environment, and the spectacular ocean view. In the world of online internet vacation bookings, ALL accommodations are "sumptuous," and all views are "spectacular," but this was the real deal...... there are NO exaggerations in your website, in fact the real thing is even better. Vickie does a terrific job and takes care of the place as if it were her own. It was great to have someone on hand that can sort out any problem and help with any language difficulties. You have a real gem in Hector, he works so very hard and is always helpful and very unassuming and unobtrusive. We can't wait to come back!!

• Thank you, thank you! We have rented houses in Europe & the Caribbean, but by far yours is the most perfectly set-up. We have really thought about this and can find almost nothing to add. • What a place!  We loved everything about our holiday, starting with Villa Mango.  It's the first time we've ever had the experience of a website not doing a place justice -- the view, the air, the lovely help we had in Vickie & Hector -- it was just superlative.   While we don't suggest that you send folks down the coast road - from that inauspicious start came the best holiday we've ever had.  We will absolutely
  be back and wouldn't stay anywhere else.  We feel like we discovered a hidden jewel, both in Dominical and in Villa Mango.  We are talking to our family about a big gathering.  I wish we had big adventure stories to tell, but the place is so magical that we barely needed to lift a finger to be dazzled.  Our horseback trip down to the waterfall, through the really great folks at Bella Vista (arranged by Vicki at a moment's notice) was a real highlight.  Just watching the cloud formations was another--we got some extraordinary rainbow and skyscape pictures.  Also--Greg had some of the best surf he's had in a while (and he chases surf.)  The cove that La Parcela <restaurant> overlooks was breaking like crazy for two days and it was one incredible left-breaking wave after another.  Don't fret about the car ride--it was forgotten the minute we walked in the door of the Villa.  Again, thanks -- we have a new favorite place.

• Impossible to describe without trite words - breathtaking, beautiful, paradise.  Even the pictures on the website fall far short of the experience of this place.  The comfortable, perfectly furnished deck offers a panoramic ocean view, a blue expanse during the day, dark expanse dotted with the lights of fishing boats at night, a background for an incredible light show during a storm.  We've seen monkeys, toucans, parrots, and even more from this cozy spot.  The individual bedrooms are private & luxurious as are the tiled bathrooms.  The living space invites wonderful socialization & the tastefully decorated spaces are soothing.  The pool is as refreshing as it is beautiful & the sandstone patios & arched bridges defy description.  The landscaping blends right in with the jungle loaded with stones & exotic flowering plants.  The service is excellent.  Much more personal & rewarding than a five star hotel.  We loved every minute here.  Put us on your mailing list; we'll be back!

• We truly felt as though we were in Paradise. Loved every minute of it. Even the rain was a welcome break and a time to justify just relaxing at the Villa. It definitely filled every expectation we had of a wonderful family vacation. We all loved the house and the "kids" really enjoyed Dominical. What can I say? • This is the most beautiful place we have ever been! We loved your home -- thank you for sharing it with us. The hammock was our favorite spot. We saw so many different animals, and enjoyed the people. Our favorite adventure was the horseback ride to the waterfall. We also caught some great fish. • First, let me say what an amazing place Villa Mango is. Your taste is wonderful and we were very comfortable here. We appreciate the fact that the house is furnished not with "vacation rental" furniture but with special things that you might have in your own home. We loved it. The grounds are immaculate. The pool is gorgeous and so clean and so much fun. . . We really did have a delightful time. The people here are so friendly and welcoming. . . Stocked with all of the comforts of home, I felt relaxed as soon as we stepped in. Thank you so much for your part in creating and sustaining Paradise here in Dominical...

• Thank you, thank you! I'm thinking that there are no words on earth to describe our amazing trip to Villa Mango. You ask about things that may need improvement....we actually sat several times on our vacation and tried to come up with anything....anything at all that we would have changed or improved....it got to be a little game. We came up empty handed. You guys did an awesome job!! It's amazing how the house blends so well with it's surroundings but screams "spectacular" on it's own. We do try every year to go on vacation to a place we have never been. We have rented houses in Europe and the Caribbean, but by far yours is the most perfectly set up. The world is big and there is much to see. However, we are in the process of discussing our next visit to the Villa (perhaps a two week stay next time)?? It has been a pleasure working together with you as we planned our stay. We felt taken care of from the very first e-mail and that feeling stayed with us right up until we left for the airport. It was such fun to come to the computer in search of the answer to that day's questions. You have been great. Vickie & Hector are absolutely the best people, and Vickie gave a great massage. • Well where can I start... You are blessed to have such a treasure. Your place is truly a paradise on earth! The location is spectacular and literally breath taking. You are right, the pictures do not do any justice. You are lucky to have a great staff. Vickie was a great host and an awesome masseuse, she is very down to earth which made us feel relaxed. Hector is humble, respectful, and was extremely helpful all of the time. He is definitely a great person, and we were lucky to have both of them around. We want to thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay at your villa. We are all definitely hooked on Costa Rica! We are looking forward to go again ASAP, and hopefully still find Hector and Vickie there. We could not ask for anything different. • What a beautiful piece of paradise. We've been to beaches all over the world and this was one of the greatest vacations of our lives. Wonderful, tastefully done home with a great garden and perfect ocean view. Hector did a wonderful job of keeping the home and grounds up. Denny was absolutely great. He really helped inform us regarding all the activities and restaurants around this "paradise." Thanks for a wonderful time. (after 1st visit) Hard to believe we had a better time this time in Paradise than we did when we were here two years ago. Vickie & Hector were wonderful! We like the renovations to Casa Amigos & the grounds. Everything was top notch. We'll be back --

• It's comforting to know that there are people like Glen and Youval whose care for natural beauty can blend so seamlessly with their eye for luxurious accommodation. We found our stay, while all to brief, to be the perfect antidote to our "civilized" life. The calming effect of the toucan's sweet song as the sun set magestically into the Pacific allowed months of stress to float away... Our visit was embellished by the kindly yet never overbearing assistance of Vickie, the property manager.... always available when a question or need should arise. Most of all, this magical land and its wonderful people blend into a mosaic which for those seeking solace, adventure, relaxation and luxurious surroundings, Paradise Costa Rica is not to be missed. We look forward to our rapid return and perhaps one day to be a neighbor of Glen and Youval.

• We had the BEST vacation. I love America, but it was SO NICE to visit a peaceful country with incredibly friendly people, in such a relaxed atmosphere. Your homes are beautiful, luxurious, very comfortable, and probably the nicest accommodations we've ever had. The landscaping is breathtaking and the natural surroundings transported us to Paradise. Your property manager did a super job making us feel welcome with suggestions steering us to many great activities and restaurants. Hector kept the place immaculate. • All I can say is WOW and Thank you, Thank you! For one week I went 1st class. A spectacular and serene view, comfortable, clean, wide-open accommodations. Denny is convivial and knowledgeable, Hector is efficient, kind and unobtrusive. Whoever created and designed this property deserves congratulations and cheers. Words do not adequately express the joy and peace I felt simply hanging out and walking about, listening to the waterfalls while lazing about in the pool, and watching the sunsets over the Pacific is something I shall cherish into old age. Birds and butterflies, colors and the cooling air of the evening breeze.... ahh..... to be sure - Paradise. Again, thank you for sharing your vision and your home. • What a blessing it was to stay in your beautiful homes. The surrounding landscape and jungle and views of the ocean are breathtaking. We felt very comfortable in your homes and you have them decorated very nicely and inviting. It is so peaceful here. We loved the wildlife -- it was like being in your own zoo all day and night. Hector does a great job and is an honorable man..... your place is so clean & well-maintained. Your manager went "above and beyond" to make us feel comfortable, and was generous in preparing some wonderful foods for us. Thank you very much. We appreciated our stay in so many ways.

• Casa Amigos is the perfect villa offering privacy, quiet, spectacular views plus all the comforts of home.... first class accommodations in a world class setting. We enjoyed the beautifully landscaped grounds, fabulous swimming pool, but especially awakening each morning to the sights and sounds of the birds and monkeys. The design of Casa Amigos is wonderful, Denny was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and hard-working Hector made our stay all the more enjoyable. It is our hope to return to Casa Amigos in 2005. • Every year, my family takes an adventure vacation. We have been to the US West, Eastern Canada, and recently rafted the wild rivers of West Virginia. All great, but no comparison to the adventures we experienced in Costa Rica. This was a trip to remember forever. Villa Mango was an awesome "home-base" for day trips... "zipping" through the jungle, riding horses to Nauyaca Falls, riding horses on the beach, and snorkeling on Cano Island. Villa Mango was spectacular in every sense -- comfort, scenery, food, views, and "visitors" including howler monkeys and toucans. Support staff was terrific! Thanks for the memories!

• We had a wonderful time. Our only complaint was that our stay was too short! Vickie was very helpful in suggesting choices of restaurants, activities. Hector was a wonderful help too, telling us about the local plants and animals. Everybody was very friendly. • The trip was great. We all agreed that your place was superb. Your attention to detail with the hardwoods, hammocks, granite, gardening, etc. makes the place truly spectacular. Vickie and Hector are tops. They gave us "clueless tourists" a real sense of comfort, as we knew we always had a go-to man, and Vickie was always available and ready to help. Highlights -- We surfed 4 breaks from Ventanas up to El Rey, We bagged a 100 lb. sailfish about 20 miles off-shore, We had the waterfall above town all to ourselves for about a 1/2 hour, 1/2 of the crew went zip-lining and loved it, Sunsets at the villa with a few rum drinks. As for suggestions, we don't have any. The villas are excellent and your personal attention in planning the trip made our stay a joy. Thanks again,

• From the moment we walked through the front door we knew we had arrived someplace truly special. Villa Mango, Vickie, Ligia, and Hector are an unbeatable combination! The house, grounds, pool, and view are spectacular. Vickie was able to arrange for several "adventures" and each was something our family will never forget. Its hard to improve on Paradise! We didn't even mind the 5:30 AM howler monkey wake-up calls. When you've managed to impress 3 young boys you know you've done everything right. • We had a great trip! The villas were beautiful to see, comfortable, comforting, and relaxing to live in. Their design supports an excellent balance of community and privacy. The great room/kitchen area promoted fun family gatherings, while the individual (and beautiful) bedrooms with private baths gave each family unit a sense of privacy. Support from Vickie and Hector was excellent. Both were thorough in their roles, without being intrusive. The pools and pool areas were incredibly beautiful and a joy to be in. Honestly, one could simply park oneself at either of the villas for a week and never venture out. Your support/information before and after the trip was incredible. A travel agent wouldn't have provided as much information as you did. Thank you for the large and delicious fruit baskets, the bottles of wine, and coffee that awaited us on our arrival, a very nice and appreciated touch. Dinner prepared by Ligia was wonderful. We wanted local cuisine and her dishes were very tasty and abundant. I will end with the thought that our stay was fantastic and the villas simply heaven. I would (and am) recommending them to anyone who will listen. Many thanks for all that you have done to help with this vacation. • We had an absolutely fantastic stay -- we loved the house, Hector, Ligia, and Vickie.  I was amazed at the great shape the houses were in -- and its clearly because Hector and Ligia are constantly keeping them kept up... without that love, I'm sure that ants, mold, and more would be a real issue... A few things didn't work, but the moment we alerted Hector they were on it, and for me having Ligia and Hector come in daily was such a wonderful bonus.  It made for a real holiday for me. 
  The days disappeared somewhere between the beach, the pool, the waterfalls, and the horseback riding.  We would love to return, not sure when, but if Costa Rica is our destination, your home will be where we will head!   Thanks for everything,

• What an overall impression of AH-H-H-  when we first walked into your living space. It is not often that 
  Charlotte and I are able to walk into a house and say `'well this is a little ok", usually we have to begin moving things and taking things off walls to make the stay enjoyable, but you have struck just 
  the right balance.  It is comfortable, but not fussy; fits right into the greenery that is so artfully  planted;  the rooms are very comfortable - one can even read with the bed side lamp;  the spacious 
  bathrooms with the outdoor feel. You really have succeeded.  I cannot emphasize enough the gardens, they add a tremendous feeling of  'lush`and care.  I spent a great deal of my time with my macro 
  lens taking photos of all the beautiful flowers.  The fan in every room is a great boost, even though you have lovely evening breezes.  So thank you both again and I hope our paths will cross in the near

• Vickie was awesome, as well was Hector and his wife.  House was immaculate every day.  Vickie was full of info. on anything that interested us.  view was phenomenal.  Fishing was fantastic (600 lb. Blue Marlin, 5 Sails, 4 Dorado.  We enjoyed so much we're already planning when to come back.  Pura Vida!

• We had a fabulous time!  The villa and surrounding property were just beautiful - a perfect setting that truly exceeded our expectations.  We adjusted quickly to the interesting and exciting sounds of the "jungle" and spent lots of time on the deck soaking in the beauty and listening and watching for the various birds, frogs, butterflies, monkeys & other tropical wildlife that might be passing by.  One of the highlights was when a pair of Toucans came to eat from the bunch of bananas hanging from the deck! 
  We were welcomed very warmly by Vicki and Hector and his family, and were made to feel very much at home.  Thank you so much for the lovely wine and fruit which we thoroughly enjoyed!  We spent quite a bit of time at the Villa - more than we usually do on vacation - but were so enjoying our beautiful surroundings and the relaxing atmosphere.  We all enjoyed your lovely pool and did lots of reading.  The kids also watched several movies from your DVD collection.   
  We did make several excursions, and had some very nice meals, choosing several of the restaurants you recommended.  One of our favorites was La Parcella, good food and lovely ocean view.  
  All in all we had a wonderful Costa Rican adventure.  We would like to thank you sincerely for sharing your "little piece of paradise" with us.  We would certainly love to visit again and will recommend your property to anyone who asks.  Warmest regards & thanks,
