Maps, Directions, and a bit of General Information...
Paradise Costa Rica Vacation Rentals Location
Villa Mango and Casa Amigos luxury vacation rentals are located 7 km. (5 mi.) South of
the town of Dominical,
at a perfect 1200 ft. elevation, overlooking the
beautiful South-Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica -- 175 km (110 miles)
from Juan Santamaria International Airport <SJO> (near San Jose,
Costa Rica's capitol city.)
Driving to our Villas via the "mountain route" takes you along on well-paved roads through incredible landscapes, varied micro-climates, and exquisite "above-the-clouds" mountain and ocean views. Another driving option is the "coastal route," a bit faster, but less scenic. There are flights from San Jose to Quepos or Palmar Sur, about 60 minutes from "Paradise Costa Rica" and it is possible to pre-arrange a vehicle pick-up from those locations. We strongly advise renting a 4-wheel drive vehicle to facilitate access to our property, and to many of the beautiful "out-of-the-way" attractions in the Dominical area.

Weather for our Costa Rica Vacation Rentals
The Dominical area has an average temperature of 83F (28C) and is delightful year round. There is a "dry" season
from November through April. During the rest of the year, the mornings are usually sunny but it may rain in the
afternoon. While Costa Rica is a tropical wonderland all year, many nature lovers find the lush "green" season
especially beautiful. Thanks to our mountain-side location, guests at Villa Mango and Casa Amigos
Costa Rica Vacation Rentals enjoy year-round cooling, comfortable mountain breezes.
Dominical: Closest town to Costa Rica Vacation Rentals
Dominical is a small coastal village (pop. approx. 600), about 50 km. (30
miles) South of Quepos. People are easy-going, and the relaxed atmosphere
is contagious! There are various cozy bars and a surprising variety of casual
restaurants and "sodas" (serving "local" food.) Later in the
evening, some
restaurants change into discotheques, where "Ticos" (native Costa
Ricans) and vacationers dance to Latin music.
You are sure to enjoy the wonderful restaurants in our area, including Thai, Continental, Mexican, Italian, French Canadian and Costa Rican... all in beautiful tropical settings. Shops in the area include gift stores, clothes boutiques, grocery stores, fruit stands, bakeries, internet cafes, and more! Discover Dominical and many beautiful, secluded beaches that are just a quick drive "down the mountain" from Villa Mango and Casa Amigos luxury rental villas.
