Lots of news to report from "Paradise!" (Costa Rica, that is.... :-)

Now that major construction projects are (finally, whew!) behind us, we are focusing all of our energy on improvements designed to improve guests' enjoyment of their stay at Villa Mango and Casa Amigos.

Here are highlights of some recent additions and works-in-progress:

An additional phone jack and phone in the downstairs bar area of Villa Mango, so that guests can call and use the internet without disturbing those in the master bedroom.
New additional handrail (for safety) along the stairs to the pool area
About a dozen additional garden lights for the "park" area between the villas (now you can really appreciate those night-blooming water lilies!)
Our internet connection, while still dial-up, is working at a faster speed than before.
We have a nice wooden high-chair available for young children
New drawers in all of the bathrooms, under the sinks, for storage of toiletry items
Stops on the bedroom desk drawers to keep them on track
A new full-length mirror in each villa (Especially for you, Catherine! :-)
3 new hanging lights (on dimmers) for the Villa Mango balcony for more subdued light in the evenings
More movies added to our growing collection of DVD's, up to about 120 now!
2 additional bar stools for both Villa Mango and Casa Amigos kitchen islands
New extension showerhead's for greater water flow in downstairs showers
A new, larger capacity hot-water heater in Villa Mango (Yay! More hot water!)

Many of the items above were based on suggestions from you, our guests... Thanks for sharing ideas to help us create an ever more relaxing and comfortable environment in our special piece of the rainforest.

If you have an opportunity to plan another adventure in "Paradise" we would be happy to be your hosts again! (Our "welcome back" reduced rate offer doesn't expire. But we'd love to see you sooner than later! :-)
